The winery is located within the municipality of Alange, in Tierra de Barros.

It is located in the middle of an agricultural estate, where cereal and olive groves are cultivated in addition to extensive livestock farming with sheep. The estate has 4,000 hectares with 100 hectares of vineyards, where the predominant varieties are Garnacha and Tempranillo.

The use of herbicides has been eliminated and the vineyard is only worked with sulphur and small doses of copper, as well as natural plants such as sage, wormwood, cinnamon, etc.
Very low doses of sulfur at the entrance of the grapes and throughout the process, taking advantage of the carbonic from the malo-lactic fermentation during the aging process as a natural protector of the wine, so there is no need for the addition of sulfur during this period.

Since January 2015, it has been part of Grandes Pagos de España, the prestigious association of wine estates throughout Spain that defends and propagates the culture of Pago wine, produced in a specific terroir and reflecting the unmistakable personality of its soil, subsoil and climate.
